🌄 Overview
This is a spectacular high-altitude panoramic hike in the Bernese Oberland, beginning at First above Grindelwald.

At First, we make a short stop to take in the panoramic views from the First Cliff Walk by Tissot. From there, the trail leads through open alpine terrain to the beautiful Bachalpsee, famous for its reflections of the surrounding peaks. Beyond the lake, the trail climbs steadily toward the historic Berghotel Faulhorn and the Faulhorn summit at around 2,680 m.

The reward is an exceptional mountain panorama, with views toward the Eiger, Schreckhorn, Finsteraarhorn, other high peaks of the Bernese Alps, and the deep-blue waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz below. After a well-earned break at the summit, we return along the same scenic route via Bachalpsee to First.
