Bible @10:30 Ezra/Nehemiah
Bible @10:30 Ezra/Nehemiah
Event Description
After completing the study of Ephesians, Bible@10:30 moves back to studying Old Testament books with a study of Ezra and Nehemiah, using the “LifeChange” guidebook from the Navigators.
Why study Ezra and Nehemiah? When life is a shambles, we wonder what went wrong and long to see things put right. We long for the sense of God’s presence to return to our lives. The city of Jerusalem was a shambles―both its walls and its worship were crumbling. Ezra and Nehemiah longed to see their city restored with God’s presence, and each one pursued that goal in his own God-given way. Ezra the scholar restored Israel’s worship. Nehemiah the architect resurrected Jerusalem’s walls. Together, they helped God’s people rediscover God’s presence, and their stories will help you, too.
We meet Sundays from 10:30 am to 11:30 am in church, usually in the Reboulet room in the French Church. Any changes in venue will be announced ahead of the session. Come join us – anytime! And even if you cannot make it every single Sunday, you will still benefit from the study and enjoy the group.
