All Day
Sure-footed hikers with a head for heights and a taste for adventure will certainly appreciate the UNESCO World Heritage high trail.
Exposed in parts but always well secured, the path leads from the Bettmerhorn (2,647 m) straight across the summit ridge to the Eggishorn (2,869 m). This hike, designated as an Alpine route, is also an unforgettable experience thanks to the stunning views of the Great Aletsch Glacier, Jungfrau, Aletschhorn and Bietschhorn to the north, as well as the Rhone Valley and the mighty 4,000 m peaks of Valais to the south.
