Sixteen years ago, on Sunday, March 3, 2002, IPC officially adopted the Shan as part of the “Adopt-A-People” initiative.  Since then we have been supporting them financially and with prayer. Over the years, IPC has sent long and short term missionaries to Thailand to serve among the Shan. Many members of the congregation have also visited our missionaries serving the Shan and Shan villages. On Sunday, March 4 we will celebrate our adoption of the Shan with a “Taste of Asia” at coffee hour.
